In a bid to Enable girls to stay in school
by ensuring access to cheap hygienic products and promote menstrual health in an IDP Camp in Kween District, I have invited the YALI RLC Alumni chapter of Uganda to Kapkwata S.S. This will promote more responsible health lifestyles and impact knowledge and skills into the children and women of Kapkwata to improve their Menstrual Hygiene Management Practices
Kapkwata Secondary/Primary School Outreach
• Conduct Menstrual health education and train 20 participants including matrons, teachers, student leaders and women from the IDP camp how to make re-usable sanitary pads.
• Donate two sewing machines to the school and IDP women/girls
• Motivational sessions to offer academic and social inspiration to students
• Volleyball match (YALI RLC EA Uganda chapter Vs Students) hosted by the school
