The MHM-Working group  has celebrated MH Day in Pakistan on May 26. Dr. Syed Rizwan, “There is a lot more to do about MHM in Pakistan. Good thing is we are acknowledging it”. “Together we have to be strong advocates of good and strong MHM for girls and women and Pakistan”  said Unicef Representative Angela Kearney.

Following activities were carried out:

Theatre performance: A theatre performance based on the global theme was  performed by a professional group seeking to create an emotional appeal to set the scene for a more substantive discussion on the matter.

Panel Discussion: A panel discussion comprising representatives from government, academia, development practitioners, MHM champions will delve into the substantive actions needed to take the MHM agenda forward.

Exhibition: An exhibition where the students showcase art based on the need to create healthy, safe and dignified environment for menstrual management for girls and women.
