Break the silence to promote menstrual hygiene

We shall invite girls, local authorities, parents and boys. We shall conduct a kind of advocacy so that parents should know that it is they have to talk about menstrual hygiene to their girls before they get it. They should not be ashamed as it is considered by various local traditions. Then, girls are going to narrate how they got their bleeding for the first time and from who they got the information on how they should behave in that period. The activity has been funded by the Global Fund for women.

Advocacy to introduce parents to provide girls with pads and other materials for their period. But also, to request parents to break the silence by talking about it in their families. Then girls will dance. They will make their bracelet with their hands.
