The Rotaract Club of Nairobi Central (RCNC) goes on weekend journey – in celebration of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, 2016. On Saturday May 28th, 2016, the team travels to Leshuta Sub-Location, Narok County, Kenya on a mission. 250 girls from 3 Primary schools in Narok County, Kenya namely Leshuta, Ole Nkuya and Enturoto Primary Schools are set to benefit with one year’s supply of:
a) Hygienic sanitary towels, b) Undergarments as well as c) Bathing soap and d) A health education pamphlet each.
An informative health education and mentorship session will also be conducted and will include the boys and parents as well. It promises to be a remarkable journey bringing together girls, boys and community members of Narok for continued education on matters menstruation.
