GCAF Nigeria will be running a well- structured girl friendly experience sharing and storytelling workshop and an art therapy session. We will also develop social media posts to align with 28th May 2019 menstrual hygiene day theme.
GCAF will be documenting different stories on menstrual hygiene management through digital media and art advocacy (painting and bead making). We will evaluate and document girls’ knowledge level using a pre-workshop evaluation form. Then take the girls through an educative journey on taboos, MH myths, and hygiene. This will enable us to dig deep into the issues around menstrual hygiene for girls in underserved public schools in Lagos state, Nigeria.
We will document all these activities using videos, pictures, and paintings as we highlight the different issues, and experiences.
