To commemorate the World Menstrual Hygiene day, All survivors Network will be carrying out a 10 days menstrual hygiene advocacy Programme tagged “LETS TALK ABOUT IT. PERIOD!”
This project is to ensure no woman or girl is held back because of her period. We will be working to break the silence around periods, tackle the stigma often associated with periods, and raise awareness of the importance of menstrual hygiene for women and girls through enlightenment, awareness, skill acquisition and training.
The target is to provide 3000 sanitary pads to 3000 girls and enlighten 3000 individuals by creating a world without period poverty and stigma through Social media Advocacy, Market visit, prison visit, school visits and media tour.
