*BECAUSE NO GIRL HAS TO CHOOSE BETWEEN HER PERIOD OR HER EDUCATION*
In Tanzania, in particular in rural areas, many girls have issus to access Menstrual Hygiene products. This situation is the main reason why young girls drop off school because of the shame and difficulties they faced during their periods.
Life Support for Change is joining the Menstrual Hygiene Day 2021 to improve and advocate women/girl’s access to Menstrual Hygiene. The 28 of May LSforC will visit a local school in Arusha Region to distribute 600 washable pads and create awareness on Menstrual hygien to 150 young girls. For this day, LsForC is partnering with a tanzanian local Organization named Elle Peut Naidim, to provide training and awareness to girls.
