On the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day, we will be hosting an in-depth workshop for girls from low-income homes. The focus of this event is on menstrual hygiene, reusable pad training, sexual and reproductive health education, and alleviating period poverty. It is our belief that every young girl should have access to the knowledge and resources needed to manage her menstrual cycle with confidence. Our workshop aims to provide these critical tools by empowering participants through hands-on instruction on how to make their own reusable pads, a sustainable alternative for those who cannot afford disposable products. Additionally, attendees will receive comprehensive information on menstrual hygiene management techniques that support optimal health outcomes while reducing stigma around menstruation
