28th May is celebrated around the world as Menstruation Hygiene Day. We would meet the inmates of Sneha home of Sanlaap of Narendrapur from 11 am to 2 pm on 26th May. We would like to conduct an awareness session with them in an enclosed hall where we can share with them some information in audio – visual platform and would like to hear from them. The workshop can accommodate about 100 inmates of your Narendrapur Home in the workshop for a session of about 2-3 hours.
The session would include awareness on knowledge, practices, challenges, disposal & hygiene and taboos related to Menstruation and the need to “Break the Silence” on this phenomenon. We would also like to provide refreshments to the participants and distribute sanitary napkins to these women.
