
The celebration would take place on 26th May 2016, and the following activities have been planned:
Theatre performance: A theatre performance based on the global theme will be performed by a professional group seeking to create an emotional appeal to set the scene for a more substantive discussion on the matter.
Panel Discussion: A panel discussion comprising representatives from government, academia, development practitioners, MHM champions will delve into the substantive actions needed to take the MHM agenda forward.
Exhibition: An exhibition where the students will showcase art based on the need to create healthy, safe and dignified environment for menstrual management for girls and women.
Recommendation followed by signing of a pledge: A pledge will be made at the end mainly focusing on proactive actions that can be taken to break the silence on MHM.
