Sahyogi is a non-religious, non-political and non-profit organization working in the state of Bihar in India. Sahyogi celbrates MH day every year and also work on Mentruation year round. This year, Sahyogi has decided to observe Menstruation Hygiene week from 20th May to 28 May. During this period a range of activity will be organized in different villages and slums engaging girls, women and will also involve men and boys to break the silence on it. In our target area in Menstruation is a taboo and not an agenda of public discourse. There is a big silence on it even among women and girls. This leads to several challenges. To address this Sahyogi joins MH Day every year. Even during COVID period we did it using social media and resources available on MH Day website. This year we work on the ground and will also use social media for amplifying the challenge.
