This year, the office of Hon. John Kiarie, MP of Dagoretti South Constituency & Nolah Intimates has partnered to host an Interactive MHM Training session with 250 students from schools in Dagoretti South Constituency, followed by an interactive session with both men and women, with a focus on young/teen mothers who desire to go back to school and no longer limit their lives because of childbirth. Crevit Mullier Women’s Club will be distributing free copies of their ‘Her Roots’ book, written by JJ. Lanji Ouko to the young girls and ladies in attendance. In addition Dignity packs containing Sanitary supplies for 6 months, a pair of Nolah Underwear and soap will be distributed to the girls. This initiative seeks to be sustainable by involving pre-existing menstrual hygiene clubs or creating new ones in schools where none previously existed.
