For Menstrual Hygiene Day, and part of our #Revisible campaign we are excited to put together a conversation on #MenstrualHealth. How much do we really know about our hormones & hormonal health? 1 in 5 women have #PCOS, 25 million women have #Endometriosis, millions experience bothersome #PMS symptoms in varying degrees. Yet, we have not invested much in understanding our hormones and hormonal systems. We also end up either ignoring our #Nutrition, or not knowing what is good for us and why.
How are environmental stressors and toxins affecting us? How can we use Food as Medicine? How can we understand our hormonal systems better and heal ourselves holistically? How can women with PCOS, Endometriosis etc take small steps towards managing their symptoms? How can dietary & nutritional changes set you up for better health? How do you know what dietary changes are best for you? More importantly, how can Hormonal Health and Nutrition be a part of the global conversation around Menstrual Health?
If you’ve been thinking on these lines, join us, as we share small, practical steps that will help you take control of your hormonal health, and encourage a process of healing.
We will be in conversation with the incredibly inspiring Priyanka Nagpal Jain, founder of Hygiene & You, who took her health in her own hands & aided her process of recovery while battling years of misdiagnosis. And the founder of TheaCare, Swarnima Bhattacharya, with her own battles with Hormonal Health, has spoken to thousands of women in India, and internationally, on ways of understanding women’s hormonal systems.
