SPONSOR A GIRL CHILD (SGC) – MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY 2021.

We are organizing a Health Promotion Campaign starting on the 2021 Menstrual Hygiene Day through to June, targeting 2805 young girls in Public Schools in Delta State, Nigeria.

SGC aims to galvanize resources in support of the maintenance of good menstrual health and hygiene of school-going girls.
The campaign will comprise of two activities:

1. A health and hygiene educational talk delivered in selected public schools targeting those serving the lowest socioeconomic quintile.

2. Distribution of a menstrual hygiene package including sanitary pads, panty liners and antiseptic soaps. The target for MHD2021 is 2805 girls- representing the typical menstrual cycle of 28 days with an average of 05 period days.
