Ray Of Hope Empowerment Foundation will be organizing a two-day event to educate young vulnerable school girls in Government Secondary School, Zaria and Bakori (both in Kaduna and Katsina States) on how to maintain good hygiene during their menstrual flow. We will be having dramas to break taboos surrounding menstruation. We will give the girls opportunities to ask any questions about menstruation, as we all learn how education about menstruation changes everything. We are also engaging the school authorities on getting the girls a conducive place to change and wash. As part of our activities to commemorate MH Day 2018, our organization will be distributing 2000 packs of sanitary pads for free.
