With You: (The fundamental programme on menstrual hygiene awarenes by Satirtha)

Many women and teenagers in the interior pockets of Assam are still unaware of sanitations asociated with menstruation. School students of those remote areas still skip school for 4-5 days during periods. Still superstitions and myths rule supreme in our society. The main focus of With You is to create awareness about Menstrual Hygiene Management amongst women and teenagers and to enlighten them on the right use of sanitary pads and their disposal. Use of unclean/dirty cloths may result in urinary tract infection and cervical cancer in girls and women-folk.

Satirtha is going to celebrate World Menstrual Hygiene Day at Barapujia Higher Secondary School.
