Adaptable to your needs

Motifs are available for social media campaigning and activities on-the-ground. Materials for social media come in versions with headlines and without where you can include own messaging. Materials for on-the-ground MH Day activities include thematic posters with white space for your headline, banners for events and speech-bubble templates.

Use the campaign logo and bracelet to create your own content

Show your support and affiliation with MH Day by adding the new campaign logo and the Menstruation Bracelet visuals when you create your own content for your social channels, your website or when you hold in-person events. You can add them to any assets such as photos, presentations, posters and much more.

Who can use MH Day materials and how

Non-profits, social enterprises, and individuals

The MH Day logo and all MH Day campaign materials are free to use for individuals and any type of non-profit organisation, including, but not limited to, national and international NGOs, national and international governmental agencies, foundations, educational institutions, and social enterprises.

For-profit organisations

The use of MH Day campaign materials (including the MH Day logo) is restricted to official corporate partners of MH Day. To explore opportunities for a corporate partnership, please write to info@menstrualhygieneday.org

Meet the artists

Ari Liloan

Ari is a Filipino/Italian Illustrator based in Berlin, Germany. Her work explores timeless topics such as power, death, love, money and fried chicken through a surreal and lighthearted lense. Alessandro Gottardo

Alessandro (alias Shout) is a talented illustrator who actively collaborates with numerous Italian and international clients including The New Yorker, TIME magazine, Newsweek, Le Monde, New York Times, Die Zeit, Volkswagen, and many more. His work has received numerous awards including four Gold medals from the Society of Illustrators New York, the D&AD Graphite Pencil, and Cannes Bronze Lion. Harkiran Kalsi

Harkiran is an energetic and exciting artist who uses her art to bring positive vibes and uplift people. Her work is an exciting blend of graphic design, murals, illustration and freehand typography. She uses her platform to shine a light where it matters and was mentioned by Creative Boom as the ’25 most exciting graphic designers and illustrators’ to follow during International Women’s Day 2021. Elena S. Wood

Elena is a Berlin-based French illustrator and designer, with a special focus on social impact and inclusive design. Elena’s passion for menstrual hygiene education led her to her career in design. She created a blog to discuss the stigma surrounding periods and documented travelling while on her period in the outdoors and fell in love with designing through creating her own website. Created by British artist of colour, Harkiran Kalsi, these graffiti-inspired motifs can be directed at institutions you want to prioritise MHH moving forward. Everything you need for your in-person MH Day event

Get your set of materials for in-person MH Day events, such as rallies, community meetings, conferences, etc. The set includes thematic posters with the campaign motifs, large-format event banners with the main hashtag #WeAreCommitted and templates for speech-bubbles. #MHMiE campaign motifs

Brand new for 2022, we’ve created an additional set of campaign motifs specifically for humanitarian organisations working in Menstrual Hygiene Management In Emergencies (MHMiE). These motifs address the particular menstruation-related challenges faced by people fleeing from conflict and natural disasters. Each motif is available in in versions suitable for different geographical contexts. And, you can choose versions with headlines in Arabic, English and French. As well as the main campaign hashtags, please use #MHMiE in your social media posts.
